Statute Establishing The Small Island Developing States DOCK (SIDS DOCK)
The Parties to this Statute, recognizing that a serious and severe environmental, social, economic, political, and cultural challenge in the form of human-induced global climate change, and its adverse consequences, confronts small islands and low-lying coastal developing states, (hereinafter referred to as SIDS), throughout the various regions of the world;
